Bidded mum good bye this morning. I will c her on friday again. Travelling and shopping with her has been fun in general. haha She was obviously a lil heavy hearted to leave peipoo. fyi, peipoo is going back early dec. hahahaah! mum's just being a little overbearing.

this is a fountain in front of the gardens, kl
i find it such a working place with kids laughing and playing around the area
Its such a stark comparison after looking at what was in front of pavilion
there was this ground fountain
with pots of bushes making a kerb around it.
why? to stop people from proceeding and breaching the founntain zone
COME ON! The reason u design a fountain into the space
is to encourage more engaging activities among the people using the space
its not just to physically beautify the place,
I was enraged by the sight of it
and sorry. i dont have a foto to point it out

So i was extra happy when i sound an engaging space in front of gardens, kl. Apart from that, i was at Jalan Ah lor in KL. the place is a food street but they had horrible traffic weaving through while people were eating by the roadside. Some i would, endangered by the moving traffic. I am not saying to fully pedestrianised the street during the night hours but at least, have more control to provide more comfort to the people moving around the area. OMG There's so many potential for improvement. Oh well. occupational hazard. ignore me, mum was utterly annoyed by my complains of which and what.

Man, being my planner self. I was disatisfied by many things in kl. As in their transport, their organisational skill and their use of space. There is just so much potential. They follow suit with what others have done, but they dont know the real intention behind the design. So in the end, it has defeated its initial purposes. As for transport in kl, it is horrendous. Shopping wise, aint too bad. they have many different things that singapore has not got. BUT, transport is bad enough to put people off. Its okay. i m slightly more adapt to their transport now. However, i am leaving on wednesday. so. Hmmm.

In general, it just struck me. there's many people who only knows how to do a stupid charade but never knew what's the point of doing it. Are people in this world that lost? and not knowing what they want? I am not saying I know everything that I want. But at least, everyone should have a mind of their own to only follow what they want in their head.

OK, one last annnoying matter!
Apart from the bad transport experience.
no.1 taxi driver demanded more money from me once i reached the destination
(i was pissed, but i don blame the taxi driver. so many other factors contributing to it.)
no.2 I WAS BLOOODY CONNED! DAYLIGHT ROBBED! by the KTM's caretaker at Setia Jaya. He told me my ticket was invalid. HOW COULD IT BE POSSIBLE WHEN I BOUGHT THE TICKETS (2 of them) from the machine. Sadly, the writing was unclear and i could not prove my point. Had to gave him 10bucks of EMBEZZLEMENT? KOPI O money. so i hope, he choked on roti canai one day when he was paying with his corrupted money!

Sorry for the lack of photos and updates. I am not much of a blogger person when i am back in south east asia. and most of the time, i eat and not take photos. I have eaten so much for the past few days while bumming around in Singapore with mum.


Believe it or not, throughout my stay in Singapore. from the 6th Nov until now, except for today, I been to Orchard every single day and I am not even much of an orchard person. fyi, orchard road is a big band of shopping precinct in Singapore. Being with mum has been great as well. I somehow have forgotten the feeling of shopping with mum. She pays nearly for everything. Ok. the ones that i have paid, its all mummy's money :P

Now, i am on my way to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Bumming in Budget terminal. I think Singapore budget terminal is already 10x better than Brunei's international airport. No wonder my friends diss Brunei's airport like crazy. I am going to take fokker plane for the first time in ten years. OMG. i am thrilled. its like flying in a toy plane, how can u not be excited about it.

To summarise, trip thus far. hahah
Awesome to have mum around. Msw/Choi/Pc joined me for dinner last night. Good thai food, but super bloated tummy. And mum was super comical when she was stalking a singapore celebrity who played a bitch second wife in little nyonya. hahaha.

Lots of shopping gain. I had my fair share. mum has a truck load of them. Apart from that, crocs sure have a fair share of SIM family money. Mum bought a lots. including a pair of golden one for me. Meh. Ok lah.

Furthermore, i be having days in Singapore. So, no hurry and no rush

However my frenz, msw and choi and pc's wallets have experienced serious casualties. They bought more than me. especially today with choi and msw. I feel a bit left out. but hey, seriously... nothing that catches my attention fully. Mayb its too many things. oh sigh.

I spent most of my time basking in the sun.

The feeling has sunk in. yes, i feel 2 kgs lighter albeit i dont think my body fats is any lesser than yesterday! Yes, I am freaking done with my masters. Now, i just have to anxiously wait for my results! Fingers crossed. Sincerely hope i get a 75 average for my masters (yes, my expectation has plummetted ages ago). and I hope my discussion through the phone would be... em smooth tomorrow. eeks, i m scared. sure can hear my heart palpitates

My room is still in a horrible mess
i managed to do some clean up this morning
however, there is like no floor space atm. Eeks not my most glorious moment but i think i can do it. Still in burns, in disbelief that I possibly wont come back here for a loong time. I live on Ethel Benjamin Place so burns cals is like the nearest computer lab, i can call it my 3rd home, after richardson :P AHHHHHHH Lazy to clean the toilet. lazy to vaccuuum the room.

woke up 1030 this morning. I wonder what time would i get up tomorrow.
i also tot of giving michelle a hug before i go, would it be really awkward to hug an associate professor? and to the LADY of planning.

3 more days, before i board on that massive tin can and leaving Dunedin for goood.

I was astounded by the amount of paper I used and studies that I have done in the past few years. Back in 2007, when I thought I was leaving Dundin for good.. i hvae already thrown away most of my draft copies and everything, and only kept the final copies. However, cumulatively, for the past 2 years, the collection of reports/drafts and everything else has grown tremendously. Thebig box of reports/drafts and readings that I have done mostly in the past 2 years, and 1/3 of it.. was from the first 3 years of undergrad. I wonder if I have kept most of my readings/drafts from my undergrade (3 years) of uni. what would the scene be like.

Masters years have been a bitch. However, I have had a tremendous experience. met the most awesomest people in the world. Learnt things that I'll never get in anywhere else. managed to understand my flaws in depth too.

Since i knew i possibly wont do it for a longggg while as I am going back on next Friday. It wasnt too bad. Cruising around and such.

So, then Johanna/Nadiah wants cake and such. Ended up in Gloria Jeans whilst I am suppose to do some correction on my research. Its okay, I am nearly done anyway. Just tedious little things to do before submission on Monday. oh and waiting for it to be proofread.

Well, brings back some old memories
My 21st? it has been 2 years since my 21st
I ended up.. puking on jenny's hair/dress after excessive mixed of drinks.. esp after consecutive 2 nights clubbing til 6. our (Jenny, Denise and I) day was.. crashed until 4pm, wake up. dinner bum and club. that was the routine.

Sigh as for now, jenny is getting cosy in sydney with bevan. while denise has a total new journey as well. Oh uh. so where would I be next time
